Panthers take Penguins 3rd jersey and original colors
this of course will mean that this will be last season for the very popular and great looking Penguins 3rd jerseys. What a shame I love those uni's.
Black Hawks new alternate jersey
also includes a note about the new Predators uniforms

Today in Hockey History
November 22nd in Hockey History
1917 - The National Hockey League came into being. Its official formation was in Montreal, Canada.
1999 - ‘The Great One’, Wayne Gretzky, was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. On June 23, 1999 it had been announced that Gretzky would be the tenth, and last, player to have the three-year waiting period waived by the hall-of-fame selection committee “by reason of outstanding pre-eminence and skill.” Gretzky held 61 NHL records.

Louisana Ice Gators Coach loses his mind
You read that right, Brent Sapergia is the GM and interim headcoach of the Louisana IceGators of the ECHL...and guess who he replaced? Ron Handy! Wow, talk about a who's who of old minor league talent.
The November 6th game against Pensacola, Sapergia lost him mind over a call and was suspended.
He has hired John Gibson as head coach. Nice to see the GM losing his cool and getting suspended from coaching indefinately.

Well it is what it is and you knew this was a done deal anyway. Maybe the NHL will move them to Quebec in a couple of years when the new arena is completed.
