The Royals defeated the Stockton Thunder 4 games to 1 to win the Kelly Cup for the first time in team history.
This was the 4th Kelly Cup finals in a row to end 4-1.
The regular season champions (The Brabham Cup) for the 3rd consecutive season was the Alaska Aces.
