Buffalo Sabres center Gilbert Perreault appears on the Feb. 26, 1973 cover of Sports Illustrated. The 1st overall pick of the 1970 NHL Draft, Perreault won the Calder Memorial Trophy (Rookie of the Year) for 1970-71 and played all of his 17 seasons with Buffalo.
