The Penticton V's represented Canada in the 1955 World Ice Hockey championships held in Dusseldorf, Dortmund, Krefeld, and Cologne, West Germany, The V's went 8-0 and defeated the Soviets in the final game (5-0) to claim Canada's 16th international championship.
