April 16th 1992 - Brett Hull becomes the second player with three straight 70 goal seasons. Hull scores his 70th goal in a 5-3 victory over the Minnesota North Stars, joining Wayne Gretzky, who accomplished the feat twice.

Brett Hull the 1990-91 winner of the Hart Trophy as regular season MVP. He is standing with his father Bobby Hull winner of the the 1965 and 1966 Hart Trophies. This makes them the only father and son winners of the Hart Trophy. Brett led the league in 1990-91 with 86 goals and was second to Wayne Gretzky in total points with 131 to Gretzky's 163. Brett was followed closely in 3rd place by his St. Louis linemate, center Adam Oates who tallied 115 points with 90 assist.
