Sidney Crosby collected the 641st assist of his NHL career (all w/ PIT) to pass Jaromir Jagr (640) for second on Penguins all-time list. He is now 392 behind Mario Lemieux, the all time Pittsburgh Penguins leader in assists with 1033.

Jaromir Jagr joined Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe as the only players in NHL history to have 750 or more career goals.
He netted his 750th against the Washington Capitals in a 4-2 loss.
Jagr is far and away the active leader in goal scoring with Jarome Inginla 2nd among active players with 612.

Tony Esposito (Chicago Black Hawks) recorded his 15th shutout. It was an NHL record for rookie goalies and the most shut outs in the modern era. Tony would win the Calder as Rookie of the Year and Vezina Trophy for 1970.

Jaromir Jagr (Dallas Stars) scored is 1,000th assist in a game against the Minnesota Wild. He was the 12th NHL player to reach 1,000 points and the first non-Canadian NHL player to reach the mark.

1995 - Jaromir Jagr of the Pittsburgh Penguins wins the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's leading scorer for the regular season. Jagr was tied with Philadelphia's Eric Lindros with 70 points for the lock out season, but won the tie breaker with the most goals, 32 to 29.
Jagr was the first European born player to lead the NHL in scoring and win the Art Ross Trophy.
