2014-15 Rocket Richard Trophy Winner
In what has become a familiar sight on NHL Awards night, Washinggon Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin, winning the Rocket Richard Trophy as the NHL top regular season goal scorer.
"The Great 8" has now won 3 Richard trophies in a row and 5 overall, this season he scored 53 goals to home the Rocket again.
The only other players to win the Richard Trophy more than once are Pavel Bure with 2, Jarome Iginla with 2 and Steven Stamkos with 2.

Jamie Benn Wins 2014-15 Art Ross Trophy
Dallas Stars' Jamie Benn became the first Stars player to win the NHL regular season scoring title by getting 4 points in the last game of the 2014-15 season against the Nashville Predators.
Benn finished the season with 87 points, 1 more than NY Islanders John Tavares and 2 more than Pittsburgh Penguins Sidney Crosby.
This is the first time in a non-lockout season since 1967-68 that the NHL scoring champion had less than 90 points.
Stan Mikita twice won the Ross Trophy with 87 point seasons,
1964-65 and 1967-68.

Jagr Gets 1800th NHL Career Point

Florida Panther Jaromir Jagr assisted on Jonathan Huberdeau's goal Thursday night to pass former Penguins teammate Ron Francis for 4th on the NHL's all time point list.
He is now 50 points behind 3rd place Gordie Howe and 87 behind 2nd place Mark Messier.
He will not catch Wayne Gretzky who is the all time leader with 2,857 points.

2015 Hobey Baker Award Winner

Only the second freshman to win the award as college hockey's best player, he has led the Terriers to the 2015 NCAA Final Game against Providence.
The 1st freshman to win the Hobey Baker Memorial trophy was Paul Kariya in 1993
